When Placing UNF Orders:

Turn in orders on time – late orders will no longer be accepted. (Due date is always Tuesday 9:00PM 10 days before distribution.)

Place orders early so that any unforeseen problems can be resolved by the due date.

Look up information about UNF products, availability, product numbers, ingredients, pricing, etc. in your Prairie News Guide, on-line at http://www.unitedbuyingclubs.com/PRODUCTS/LogIn.htm (User Name = 53848@unfibc.com, Password = 53848), or call UNF at 800-323-2131. I have no affiliation with UNF and have no access to information beyond what is available to everyone else. Also, items that come up "product not found" for you, unfortunately also do so for me.

Make one update after the unfilled cases report comes out. Full cases you forgot to include in your initial order can be added to this update. Please don’t make multiple updates and changes.

Please don’t make unfilled cases updates manually; these should be added to your existing FoodLink order and resent to me.

Have all pertinent information and order numbers in front of you for reference if calling me about an order problem. I am not an order desk, and I do not have this information handy when answering my home phone.

Phoned in orders or updates will not be accepted.

Please do not turn in manual orders unless absolutely necessary. Do not place these orders in the co∙op mailbox – orders should be mailed to me at: Tina Coyle, 3126 Old Orchard Road, Brighton, MI, 48114. These should be mailed in time to be received by me by the order date. Please double-check all product numbers for accuracy.

If you would like to include notes on your order letting me know when substitutions would be acceptable to you, that is great. But please realize that if I receive too many of these in a given order period, I may not be able to honor these requests. Your order should reflect your first choice, and notes should include the product number and brief description of each mentioned item.

Please do not ask me to contact other members of the coop to negotiate product selections/splits/trades/etc. Each member is supplied with a contact list if you wish to do so on your own. You can also use the BFC Forum at http://www.brightonfoodcoop.org/InvisionBoard to do such negotiations.
